| She believes that a healthy thriving society begins with happy and bully-free homes, families, and school classrooms. While at the Paris meeting in 2004 of HumanDHS, she met and was inspired by author Dr. Robert Fuller. He had written a book on Rankism called, Somebodies and Nobodies, the Abuse of Rank. This concept of the somebody/nobody Land seemed applicable in the classroom, which led her to the idea of her first children’s book, I feel like Nobody when… These statements were given to over 350 children to complete with their own thoughts. She took 50 paired scenarios and created a book that educators are now using for LIFESKILL development, self-respect discussions, and conflict resolution. Classrooms take the statements and create their own books as an exercise in themed development in the schools. (see the teacher/parent section). She is a world citizen, having lived in Tokyo, Bonaire, Venezuela, Norway, and the Bay Area. After the overwhelming response from educators to this project, she is now dedicated to taking the same classroom exercise around the world. The Spanish version of the book is available through AuthorHouse.
